Budget pacing calculator
Halfway through the month with a third of the budget gone is a problem you can still fix. Finding out on the last day is not.
Set from your location. The maths is the same in any currency — only the labels change.
Leave at zero if you only want the pacing figures.

Pacing is not the goal
It is easy to treat a fully spent budget as success. It is not — it is a constraint. If cost per result is above target, spending the whole budget buys you fewer customers than planned and the right response is to fix efficiency, not to push spend.
That is why this asks for cost per result alongside the pacing figures. The two together tell you what to do; either on its own does not.
The two failure modes
- Under-pacing usually means budgets are capped below what delivery wants, audiences are too narrow, or approvals are stuck. The fix is rarely one big budget increase — a jump above roughly 20% typically re-enters the learning phase and costs you several days of stable delivery.
- Over-pacing means you go dark before the period ends. Intermittent delivery is worse than steady delivery at a lower level, because every restart is another learning period.
A weekly habit
Check pacing once a week, not daily. Daily checking produces noise and tempting over-correction; weekly is frequent enough to fix a real drift with a modest adjustment. Write the required daily figure down and compare it to what is actually being spent.
If the required daily spend implies more conversions per week than your ad sets can produce, check it against the Meta ads budget calculator — the learning phase sets a floor on how thinly budget can be spread.
Questions
Should the budget period be a calendar month?+
Whatever you are actually accountable for. Many teams pace to a calendar month because that is how finance reports it; campaigns do not care.
How much can I raise a daily budget at once?+
As a rule of thumb, around 20%. Larger increases commonly restart the learning phase, which costs stability for several days.
What if I am under-pacing every month?+
The budget is larger than the audience or the bidding can absorb. Widen targeting, add placements, or accept a lower budget rather than forcing spend.
Does pacing matter for lifetime budgets?+
Less — the platform paces those itself. This is most useful for daily-budget campaigns with a monthly commitment.

The paragraph below the iframe is the part that matters: an iframe's contents are served from our domain, so a link inside it is not a link from your page. The paragraph is. The small script just resizes the frame to fit your column — drop it if you prefer, the fixed height still works.
